Drew serves as the director of the Institute for Decision Making (IDM) and executive director of the Business and Community Services (BCS) Division at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI). IDM is the economic and community development outreach program for BCS. Since 1987, IDM has been delivering tailored, tailored and innovative planning, technical assistance, applied research, and training to over 860 communities, economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, state agencies, community planning groups and other similar nonprofit organizations throughout Iowa and around the United States. IDM is one of 12 unique outreach programs within the BCS umbrella which are housed within three of UNI’s colleges. Seven of the programs, including IDM, are part of the Wilson College of Business.
